Woman Dies in Wrong-Way Collision on Southwest Freeway in Houston

Early this morning, at around 12:05 a.m., a severe collision claimed the life of a woman on the 3100 Southwest Freeway. The incident, involving two vehicles – a grey Nissan Rogue and a white Mercedes C-Class, unfolded when the Nissan traveled southbound in the opposite direction on the northbound lanes, leading to a head-on crash with the Mercedes, as reported by the City of Houston News.

The aftermath of the collision saw both drivers rushed to nearby area hospitals. While the individual driving the Mercedes sustained non life-threatening injuries, the 31-year-old female driver of the Nissan Rogue unfortunately did not survive and was later pronounced dead.
