17-year-old suspect in custody after shooting at officers during standoff in Sharpstown area: HPD

The Houston Police Department says a 17-year-old suspect is in custody after shooting at officers in the Sharpstown area on Thursday night.

According to law enforcement, shots were fired at about 8 p.m. at an apartment complex on 6650 Harbor Town Drive near Bellaire.

HPD Commanders are responding to a shooting at 6555 Harbor Town where an officer discharged his weapon at a shooting suspect.
