On October 8, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a McDonald’s in North Harris County (100 block of E. Richey Road) after reports of a disturbance involving an intoxicated male. The suspect, later identified as 46-year-old Tyrone Lewis, became aggressive with employees after complaining about not having enough pickles on his burger.
When deputies arrived, Lewis refused to leave and ignored multiple verbal commands. During the attempt to detain him, he physically resisted, prompting a deputy to deploy a department-issued Taser. With assistance from additional deputies, Lewis was safely taken into custody.
