Authorities Issue Update After Serial Killer Speculation

Police in Texas have issued a startling update about a possible serial killer after the 16th body was pulled from Houston waterways, Fox News reported.

The most recent body was pulled from a Houston bayou shortly after 9 a.m. on Oct. 8, marking the 16th corpse found in the local bayous this year. Though authorities claimed that no obvious signs of foul play were determined, residents have begun to speculate that it may be the work of a serial killer. The body of the man found on Wednesday morning has been handed over to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, who will perform an autopsy. The other victims have been both male and female, and range in age from early 20s to 60s.
