A Houston ICU nurse employed by Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital has been terminated after she threatened police during a DWI arrest, telling officers she would let them die if treated at her hospital.
The arrest took place in Magnolia, Texas, after officers say she ran a red light, slowed only after 40 seconds, and displayed signs of intoxication including slurred speech and unsteady movement.
In body-camera footage released by Magnolia police, the nurse identifies herself as a medical professional and says, “When you come through my hospital, don’t worry, I’ll let you die.”…
