A passenger in Kristina Chambers’ car met her minutes before the deadly 2023 crash and jumped at a chance to ride in her brand new Porsche Carrera for a late-night dip in the pool at her Montrose townhome.
The two met at Lola’s, a Montrose dive bar and Chambers’ last stop on a hedonistic tour of restaurants and bars with a friend. The three squeezed into the sports car and Chambers floored it for the 2-mile trek to her home on Colquitt, near Shepherd. She failed to make it half a mile before the passenger recalled Chambers overshooting the right turn onto Westheimer and careening into the wrong lane of traffic.
