A pregnant Kristina Chambers sentenced to 11 years for Montrose crash that killed man on first date

Kristina Chambers was sentenced Monday to 11 years and 14 days in prison in connection to the 2023 death of a pedestrian hit by her Porsche 911 Carrera as she drunkenly careened off a Montrose street.

The length of the sentencing symbolizes Joseph McMullin’s Nov. 14 birthday, officials said.

The jury spent nearly six hours deliberating Chambers’ punishment in the death of 33-year-old McMullin, who was walking on a first date outside Voodoo Doughnuts around 2:30 a.m.  April 19 in the 1200 block of Westheimer. McMullin and his date decided on a late night snack of doughnuts and coffee…
