Elmer Wayne Henley awaits parole decision in ’70s Southeast Texas serial killings case

Elmer Wayne Henley, convicted for his involvement in one of Southeast Texas’ most notorious crime sprees, could learn as soon as Friday whether he will be granted parole.

Henley, now 69, was sentenced to six life terms in 1979 for his role in the murders of at least 28 boys in the Houston area between 1970 and 1973.
