Houston Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Suspect in Aggravated Carjacking on South Post Oak Road

The Houston Police Department is actively seeking information to help identify a suspect in a recent aggravated robbery that involved a carjacking in a business parking lot, the department’s Robbery Division stated. The incident occurred on October 21, when the victim was accosted at approximately 5:30 pm while entering their vehicle on the 15000 block of South Post Oak Road in Houston.

According to the crime report, an unidentified male approached the victim, speaking Spanish with a Venezuelan accent, and demanded them to get out of the vehicle, brandishing a handgun in the process. After complying, the victim watched the suspect drive away in the now-stolen car. Investigators are urging anyone with information to step forward, hoping to quickly apprehend the individual responsible for such a bold act.

The case took another turn the next day, on October 22, when the stolen vehicle was involved in an accident at the intersection of Almeda Road and Broadhurst. The suspect fled the scene on foot following the collision.
