LEAGUE CITY — Police say a domestic disturbance involving gunfire led to a brief standoff Saturday evening, ending with a man taken into custody and two children brought to safety.
According to Officer Trevor Montero, officers were called to the 2200 block of Golden Sails Drive around 5:37 p.m. on November 15 after a report of an argument and a gunshot heard outside the home.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a woman who said her husband had fired a single round outdoors during the dispute and was still inside the house with their children. Police say the man briefly stepped outside holding one of the children, and officers noted a pistol holstered at his hip. He refused commands and retreated back inside…
