Houston Police Expose Identity Theft Scheme at Unlicensed Funeral Home During Service

Houston police interrupted a funeral service at an unlicensed funeral home in the Third Ward while executing a search warrant. The Community Funeral Home on Wheeler Avenue was being investigated for allegedly using the personal information of deceased individuals for fraud. The funeral home’s license had been revoked on August 31, according to KHOU.
