PEARLAND, TX – On Sunday, November 30, 2025, Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were conducting Operation Blue Santa enforcement in the 3000 block of Silverlake Village Drive when they encountered a suspected shoplifter. The suspect, 34-year-old Kieana Anderson, entered her vehicle with her three children, ages 12, 9, and 4, and fled from deputies.
During the pursuit, an open driver’s door struck a deputy, knocking the officer to the ground. Additional deputies and local law enforcement pursued Anderson until she crashed into another vehicle at Beltway 8 and State Highway 35. Anderson was taken into custody without further incident.
Anderson is currently held at the Brazoria County Detention Center on bonds totaling $121,000. She faces charges including theft of property, aggravated assault against a public servant, three counts of abandoning/endangering a child, and evading arrest with a vehicle…
