Woman Stabbed Boyfriend & Fled, Leading To 57-Mile Police Chase With Her Kids in the Backseat

A Houston area mom of two was arrested on multiple charges after reportedly fleeing from police. Khariciea Jefferson allegedly led authorities on a television-worthy chase with her two young children and her dog in the backseat of her car. Police say the woman was on the run after assaulting her boyfriend with a kitchen knife for unknown reasons. After her multi-city police chase, police apprehended the mom and took her to jail.

On August 3, 2025, 25-year-old Jefferson used a kitchen knife to stab her boyfriend in the stomach and hand, KTRK reported. She also allegedly attempted to harm him with a pair of scissors. After the stabbing, Jefferson took her 2- and 4-year-old daughters and put them in her car along with her dog.

She then allegedly hit her unnamed boyfriend with her car, running over his leg as she escaped.

Houston Police Department officers spotted her around 1:30 p.m., which is when the chase began. Eventually, Jefferson made her way onto the East Freeway, and was traveling at speeds up to 140 miles per hour…
