HOUSTON (CW39) — A massive drug bust led by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office and multiple law enforcement partners seizure of over 200 pounds of methamphetamine hidden behind a false wall inside a Houston home, according to Sheriff Brian Hawthorne with Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.
It was December 4, 2025, when investigators from several agencies joined forces, including the DEA Galveston Resident Office, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Galveston Police Department, Texas City Police Department, Houston Police Department, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies said the methamphetamine was found when searching the house. That’s where officers also arrested two people who were allegedly in the U.S. illegally.
