A homicide investigation is underway after police say a woman was fatally shot by a security guard in Houston’s south side Friday.
HPD responded to an apartment complex at 2111 Holly Hall just before 12:30 p.m. after receiving a call about criminal mischief in progress. Moments later, police say, the call was upgraded to a shooting.
Sgt. Charles Lamonte with HPD homicide says officers found the security guard with injuries just after arriving to the scene. Investigators say another woman was found dead inside of an apartment unit. The security guard was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
