Fugitive captured with drugs after weeks of surveillance

HOUSTON, Texas — A 32-year-old fugitive, Gabriel Padron, of Houston, Texas, was apprehended on December 11, 2025, in the 4200 block of Carlton after weeks of surveillance. The arrest was made by the Narcotics and Vice Investigation Division with assistance from the Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force.

Padron was taken into custody without incident as he exited a home and attempted to flee in a vehicle. During the arrest, officers found a quantity of cocaine on him, according to the press release. A search warrant executed at the residence led to the seizure of 82.56 grams of cocaine, 14.3 grams of pills, 82.89 grams of marijuana, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, and $738 in U.S. currency…
