Woman charged after injecting patient with counterfeit filler, practicing without license: Records

A woman from Sugar Land has been charged after court documents say she injected a patient with an unknown substance that caused harm.

Records show that Iris Vanessa Garcia, 35, from Sugar Land, was charged with practicing medicine without a license or permit, causing harm, following a Sept. 26 procedure that left a woman with medical problems.

According to documents obtained by ABC13, the woman contacted Garcia through her Instagram account, “One_Aesthetics.htx,” and scheduled an appointment for Botox and dermal fillers. Records state Garcia performed the procedures at her business, “One Aesthetics Houston,” at 1500 South Dairy Ashford Road in west Houston…
