🚨 DWI ARREST – PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT 🚨
On the night of December 21, 2025, law enforcement officers conducting traffic enforcement in the 10000 block of the S. Sam Houston Parkway East were notified of a possible impaired driver traveling westbound on the South Sam Houston Tollway. Information from a concerned motorist indicated the driver had been operating a vehicle erratically, including stopping on the shoulder, striking a concrete barrier, backing up in a moving lane of traffic, and swerving across lanes before coming to a stop.
Officers made contact with the driver, identified as 24-year-old Nguyen, Chanh Duy, and observed multiple signs of intoxication. A DWI investigation was conducted, including standardized field sobriety testing, which indicated impairment. The driver was taken into custody and later provided a breath specimen.
