HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man on December 19, 2025.
LeBron Augustus, 17, has been charged with murder in the 230th Criminal District Court for the death of John Pascuasa-Menendez.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Chettry and H. Martinez, patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 10606 block of Brooklet Drive around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Pascuasa-Menendez in an alley suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
