Houston police seek public’s help identifying aggravated robbery suspect

HOUSTON — Houston police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man accused of assaulting a convenience store clerk during a robbery last fall.

According to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division, the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at a convenience store on Will Clayton Parkway near the Eastex Freeway.

Investigators said the suspect entered the store and made a small purchase. He then attempted to exchange the item for a more expensive product but refused to pay the price difference. When the clerk declined, the man became combative, assaulted the employee, and walked out of the store with the higher-priced item…
