Houston officials address human trafficking during awareness event at Children’s Assessment Center

As part of National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Houston leaders are coming together today at the Children’s Assessment Center to shine a light on human trafficking and what’s being done to stop it.

KPRC 2 will livestream the press conference beginning at 9 a.m.

Organizers say children make up more than a quarter of human trafficking victims worldwide, and Houston continues to rank among the top U.S. cities for sex trafficking cases.
