Multiple Houston protests planned against Minneapolis ICE shooting of Renee Nicole Good, organizers say

At least two protests against U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement will take place in Houston in the coming two days, after an ICE officer shot and killed a woman inside her car in Minneapolis.

Video footage from Minneapolis show an ICE officer firing at least two close-range shots at a moving Honda after another officer demanded the driver exit, pulling on the vehicle’s door handle.37-year-old Renee Nicole Macklin Good was killed in the shooting, which the city’s mayor blasted and White House officials called self defense.

“To ICE: Get the f— out of Minneapolis,” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said at a press conference. “We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite.”…
