A confrontation at a west Houston Exxon gas station ended in bloodshed Wednesday, sending one person to the hospital and kicking off a police search for a suspect in the busy Chimney Rock Road and Southwest Freeway corridor.
Houston police said the stabbing happened at the Exxon on the corner, and the wounded person was rushed to a nearby hospital. Officers were still working to track down a suspect in the immediate aftermath of the attack.
HPD officers told ABC13 Houston that investigators had not yet released the names of either the victim or the suspect. As of the initial reports, officers at the scene did not know the victim’s condition. Detectives were canvassing the area, looking for witnesses and any surveillance footage that might show what happened, and authorities urged anyone with information to speak up.
