Houston police told Click2Houston that a call came in around 3:43 a.m. reporting that a red Honda Civic had crashed into a tree at the intersection of Tidwell Road and Wayside Drive. The caller said the driver was trapped inside the car and was not breathing.
According to the station, the Harris County medical examiner pronounced the driver deceased at the scene, and investigators identified the wreck as a single-vehicle crash.
