The owners of a recently purchased home in Houston got an unexpected — and alarming — surprise inside their new residence.
Authorities said dispatchers received a call on Saturday, Jan. 10, after the homeowners reported finding suspected explosives inside a home in the 7400 block of John Ralston Road.
Deputies responded to the property, where the homeowners showed them ammunition and other firearm-related items, including what appeared to be grenades and improvised explosive devices. Officials then contacted the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad.
