HOUSTON — The eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway were shut down for hours Wednesday after the Houston Avenue Bridge was hit once again by an oversized vehicle.
The crash happened shortly before noon. All lanes were shut down for throughout the afternoon before being reopened to traffic at around 4:45 p.m.
Officials closed the freeway for multiple hours because they needed to clean up the scene and get the bridge inspected before traffic could pass through again…
