Channelview ISD junior high teacher no longer employed amid investigation involving ‘allegation made by student’

Channelview Independent School District confirmed it is investigating an allegation involving a classroom teacher at Alice Johnson Junior High School.

In a statement, the district said authorities and the parents of the involved student were notified immediately and that the employee is no longer employed by Channelview ISD.

“Channelview ISD has received an allegation involving a classroom teacher at Alice Johnson Junior High School. Authorities and the parents of the involved student were notified immediately, and an investigation is ongoing. The employee is no longer employed by Channelview ISD. Because this is an active investigation, we are unable to provide additional details at this time. Student safety remains our top priority.”
