Francesca’s, the Houston-based women’s boutique and shopping mall staple, is preparing to close all its stores nationwide after more than 25 years in business.
The company, which has five stores in Austin and four in San Antonio, is winding down operations and liquidating inventory across its 457 locations, Women’s Wear Daily reported.
Francesca’s has not made a public statement or filed for bankruptcy, but news of the closure has been widely reported and clearance sales are underway both in stores and online. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment…
