Precinct 8 Deputy Ramirez making a stop for expired tags uncovered a 10,000 dollar problem lurking within Willie’s black Nissan.

On January 15, 2026, at approximately 11:29 PM, Deputy A. Ramirez conducted a traffic stop at the 1000 block of the Gulf Fwy on a black Nissan for expired registration. Deputy Ramirez made contact and identified the driver as 55-year-old Willie Anderson. During the encounter, Deputy Ramirez requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle and recovered approximately .44 grams of crack cocaine.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted the Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. It was also discovered that Anderson is currently out on bond for a previous charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond has been set at $10,000.
