LUBBOCK, Texas — While the weather outside was ice-cold, Texas Tech heated up inside United Supermarkets Arena with a resounding 90-86 win over No. 6 Houston.

The No. 12 Red Raiders continued to defend their home court and notched their second-straight AP Top 15 win in Lubbock. The win over the Cougars avenged an earlier season loss at the Fertitta Center on Jan. 6. After taking down Houston last season on the road, Texas Tech has earned victories over one of the Big 12’s biggest threats in back-to-back seasons.
