On January 21, 2026, at approximately 12:07 AM, Deputy J. Love and A. Ramirez were dispatched to the 1100 block of El Camino Village Dr. regarding a suspicious male with a backpack in a laundry room on the property. The reportee advised that the male admitted to using the laundry room to smoke marijuana. Deputies made contact with the male, identified as 27-year-old Sammy Bardales. During a probable cause search of Bardales’s backpack, deputies recovered .5 grams of methamphetamine in pill form.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted the Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bardales was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center and booked without incident. Bond was set at $1,000.
