HOUSTON – Students at several Houston-area high schools are planning a student-led walkout on Friday, Feb. 6, to protest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) policies, according to information shared by students and community organizers.
The walkouts are expected to take place during school hours, with most occurring around lunchtime. In several cases, students plan to leave campus and walk to nearby shopping centers or public gathering areas.
