Allegations of tax fraud, fake aliases, and real estate misconduct surround husband and wife duo

HOUSTON, TX – A series of public statements issued by Dr. Candice Matthews detail multiple allegations involving husband and wife duo Nikki and Robbin Jones, including a regulatory complaint, tax fraud allegations, alias discrepancies, and concerns related to nonprofit operations.

According to Dr. Matthews, a formal complaint has been submitted to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) involving Robbin Jones. TREC has acknowledged receipt and is currently reviewing whether it has jurisdiction to open a formal investigation. No findings or determinations have been made at this time.

Separate allegations accuse Nikki Jones of improper tax preparation practices. A former worker allegedly submitted records showing returns filed with non-existent dependents and inflated refunds, along with financial kickbacks. Dr. Matthews stated that the documentation is under review and that no conclusions have been reached.

Additional allegations raised by Dr. Matthews include the use of multiple aliases allegedly linked to Nikki Jones, with public records cited as the source. Her office stated the findings raise transparency concerns for individuals involved in legal or public advocacy matters and encouraged official documentation to clarify any discrepancies.
