Driver confusion in construction zone may have led to crash that killed 8-year-old

HOUSTON (CW39) — Investigators say a driver may have been confused by signage in a construction zone before a crash that killed an 8-year-old boy in northwest Houston.

The crash happened on West Little York near Fairbanks North Houston.

Officials say, in addition to the child who was killed, two other people were injured in the crash. One of the victims remains in critical condition.
