Some peanut butter from nationwide recall came from Houston-based wholesaler, FDA says

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has classified a nationwide recall of peanut butter that may contain foreign material — blue plastic that was found inside a filter, according to the agency.

Part of the recall of more than 23,000 cases of product involved a Houston-based wholesaler that started the removal process months ago, the company said Tuesday.
