HOUSTON, Texas — A traffic stop in Houston led to the arrest of two individuals wanted for multiple felony burglary warrants in Louisiana, according to a press release from Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
Deputies, along with the Constable K-9 Unit, conducted the stop in the 14100 block of Cypress N. Houston Road, resulting in the arrest of a male and female suspect. The female was identified as being wanted out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on four felony burglary warrants. Her boyfriend, who arrived at the scene, was found to have an open felony warrant in Jefferson County, Texas, for Engaging in Organized Crime, along with nine felony burglary warrants from Baton Rouge.
Further investigation revealed the couple’s involvement in nine vehicle burglaries in West Baton Rouge, Louisiana, causing approximately $13,000 in damages and stolen property. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident…
