HOUSTON (CW39) – Black cowboys and cowgirls made a pitstop at the Delmar Stadium in Houston to catch a break before the big ride through downtown Houston this weekend, leading thousands of spectators into rodeo season with a powerful reminder that Western history is far more diverse than many realize.
Friday was the fifth day out of seven that the True Western Trail Ride Association had taken from Waller, Texas, to Houston just days before the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Parade.
