HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian at 8500 Beechnut Drive on Saturday night.
The victim, identified as 67-year-old Martha Carrillo, was struck by a silver or gray truck that ran a red light and hit her in the crosswalk, according to the Houston Police Department. The truck also collided with the front end of a white BMW X40 before the driver fled the scene, continuing eastbound on Beechnut.
