On Saturday, February 28, 2026, deputies on active patrol conducted a traffic stop in the 12500 block of Astoria Boulevard for a vehicle observed speeding.
Deputies made contact with the driver and detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During further investigation, the driver who was identified as 26-year-old Brydon Meredith stated he had a firearm on his waist which was unholstered. Deputies observed a baggie of marijuana on the passenger front seat in plain view that was confiscated.
