On Monday, March 2, 2026, deputies were dispatched to a local Target located at 8503 S. Sam Houston Parkway in reference to a reported theft.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with loss prevention personnel, who advised that they had observed a female suspect, identified as 30-year-old Candice May, concealing merchandise inside her purse. Loss prevention further stated that May proceeded past all points of sale without attempting to pay for the concealed items.
