Texas’ favorite anthropomorphic beaver may be drawing influencers and celebrities from all over, but the latest news out of the Better Business Bureau suggests Buc-ees hasn’t won the hearts of all. In fact, a series of unanswered complaints spanning years has cost the company its accreditation.
The land of clean restrooms, Beaver Nuggets, overwhelming snack options and merchandise galore isn’t just under fire for turning away commercial vehicles. The company has racked up nearly 90 complaints to the Better Business Bureau since 2019, and the company has allegedly chosen not to answer to the grievances, per the accrediting agency.
“Since March of 2019 and continuing to date, the BBB Houston [has] received multiple complaints and reviews that are exhibiting the following pattern: Consumers allege they are unable to contact the company as there are no phone numbers on the website,” the announcement of the failing accreditation states. “Complaints and customer reviews also state, poor/rude customer service.”…
