Two Houston area residents just won big on Texas Lottery scratch-offs

HOUSTON — Two Houston-area residents are celebrating big wins after claiming $1 million prizes from separate Texas Lottery scratch-off games.

A Kingwood resident claimed a top prize of $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Mega Millionaire. The winning ticket was bought at Kingwood Mart at 4003 Rustic Woods Drive, Suite C, in Houston. The winner chose to remain anonymous.

For selling the winning ticket, the retailer may be eligible for a $10,000. This was the first of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the game. The overall odds of winning any prize in Mega Millionaire are one in 3.84, according to the Texas Lottery…
