Precinct 8 noticed Alvaro’s registration expired and hopefully so did his crack selling gig.

On March 5, 2026, at approximately 11:32 PM, Deputy D. Webber, along with K9 Deputy K. Peters, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 11600 block of Fuqua St. for expired registration. The passenger was identified as 27 year-old Alvaro Salas. During the stop, Deputy Peters requested and was granted consent to search Salas’s person and recovered approximately 1 gram of marijuana, approximately 22 grams of Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia indicative to the distribution and delivery of narcotics.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted the Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. It was also discovered that Salas was out on bond for a previous charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. No bond has been set at this time.
