Houston, Texas – Residents across Southeast Texas could face two separate weather hazards within 24 hours, beginning with thunderstorms late Sunday and shifting to dangerous fire conditions by Monday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston, a cold front moving through the region Sunday evening may trigger strong to severe thunderstorms, especially across the Piney Woods region including Crockett and Livingston, where a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather is in place.
