A freeze warning has been issued for counties north of Houston, where temperatures could drop to around 28 degrees early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures below freezing are expected between midnight and 9 a.m. Tuesday, creating conditions that could damage plants and other sensitive vegetation.
