Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by METRO train in southeast Houston, METRO officials say

A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for serious injuries on Friday after being hit by a METRO train in southeast Houston, according to METRO officials.

METRO officials said that the incident happened on the Purple Line near Palm Center on Friday evening. Both METRO police and the Houston Fire Department responded to the scene.

Trains are being turned back at the MacGregor platform, and METRO officials have requested a bus bridge between MacGregor and Palm Center to support riders, METRO said…
