On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, deputies were conducting business checks at an abandoned Walgreens located at 8311 Broadway St, where an active criminal trespass affidavit is in place. During the check, deputies observed a male sleeping in the parking lot.
Deputies made contact with the individual and advised him that he was not permitted to be on the property. Deputies attempted to identify the male; however, he refused to provide identification. Deputies then attempted to detain the individual, at which point he pulled away from deputies and attempted to flee. The male actively resisted detention.
Deputies were ultimately able to detain the individual and identified him as 22-year-old Julio Cesar Venegas. A records check revealed that Venegas had an active outstanding warrant out of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office…
