As the 2026 CPA class reaches week four, they got an opportunity to hear from our Commercial Vehicle Enforcement division. With SH 225 functioning as a key trucking thoroughfare in Pasadena, diligent enforcement of trucking guidelines is a crucial component in maintaining highway safety in our city. CPA participants got to see the good, the bad and how zip ties and duct tape are not a safe go-to for vehicle repairs. Our K9 division wrapped up the night with a demo from one of our four-legged partners and a Q & A about how the department selects these impressive animals.
