A late-night burst of gunfire turned a residential stretch of northwest Houston into a crime scene Saturday, leaving one man dead and neighbors with more questions than answers.
Houston police said officers and emergency crews were called to the 3600 block of Hollister Road around 9 p.m., where they found a man who had been shot multiple times. The Houston Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene. No arrests have been made, and detectives are still working to figure out who pulled the trigger and why.
