(NEXSTAR) – America’s hunger for Mandarin Orange Chicken is apparently showing no signs of waning, seeing as Trader Joe’s plans to open a slew of new stores in the coming months.
An “Opening Soon” tab on the retailer’s website currently lists 18 upcoming locations spread across 12 states. A representative for Trader Joe’s could not say exactly when each location would begin welcoming customers, but confirmed that stores are typically added to the “Opening Soon” section “3-6 months before they plan to open their doors.”

Trader Joe’s currently has locations in 42 states and the District of Columbia. States without a Trader Joe’s as of April 2026 are Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wyoming, according to the company’s official site.
